The duo offers more of a balance and will have to be at their best to contain United’s effective 3-man midfield.
Allen has increasingly been used in an advanced role and it is likely to remain the same against United. But he will be involved in more of defensive duties one will expect.
ATTACK
Shaqiri is likely to play on the right wing and will look to renew his fruitful partnership with the Austrian.
Arnautovic will line up on the left side and will play a crucial role in the attacking third.
Peter Crouch will be the lone striker.
