Midfield
With Santi Cazorla out with injury and now Mohamed Elneny off for the African Cup of Nations, Wenger really has very little to choose from in the midfield.
Francis Coquelin only played the final quarter of the game against Palace and he is expected to start.
Granit Xhaka has been a regular starter in the last 4 games, playing diligently and tirelessly. We expect Aaron Ramsey to start the game against the Cherries. The Wales international has been out of form this season so far and this could be the best time to get a run of games to get into form.
Mesut Ozil missed the last match with illness as Alex Iwobi took up the number 10 role. He is expected to make a return. He has scored twice and assisted another in his last three league meetings against Bournemouth.
Attack
Lucas Perez was sparkling against Palace, but we expect him to start from the bench with Oxlade-Chamberlain returning.
We don’t expect Wenger will risk asking Sanchez to stay out of the game and Iwobi might have to step down from the starting line-up.
Giroud has made himself an automatic starter given his current return of two goals from the last two starts.
