Giving an advanced role to Pogba meant allowing Fellaini to play in the pivot position. The Belgian won a lot in the air and looked stable. He is expected to start in that position.
Pogba and Ander Herrera will take the attacking midfield positions.
Although Mata was needed to go full throttle, a balanced team would make them three at the midfield.
Attack
Mkhitaryan has been a gem in United’s attack in the last few matches and is expected to take his position on that right flank.
Anthony Martial looked tired after the game against Boro as he went through some heavy tackles. We expect Rashford to start on the left this time.
