Real Madrid could revive their interest in David De Gea in the next summer. The Spanish keeper was subject of a bid from the La Liga giants in the 2015 summer but couldn’t complete the transfer due to a malfunctioned fax machine.
The keeper signed a new contract after that and has been an indispensable part of Jose Mourinho’s side.
Real Madrid’s transfer ban were recently reduced by the Court of Arbitration of Sport and that means the Los Blancos are eligible to make transfers in the next summer. If rumours are to be believed, the Spanish custodian has a £43m release clause in his contract and that could be triggered by the club.
Jose Mourinho would block any move from the European champions but if United fail to finish in the top four, De Gea might reconsider his future. The Red Devils shot-stopper is regarded among one of the best in business and has a contract till 2019.
