Jurgen Klopp had no regrets for choosing a youngest Liverpool side following a draw against Plymouth in the FA Cup third round. Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by a spirited Plymouth side.
Ben Woodburn, Ovie Ejaria, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Kevin Steward all had been named in the starting lineup by Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds dominated the proceedings but couldn’t convert the chances into goals and the League Two side have earned a replay.
The introduction of Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino in the second half couldn’t change the fate of the match.
Klopp said, “I don’t think the line-up was a mistake.
“We made mistakes in the game and always with the boys, the good things they are responsible for and the bad things I am responsible for.
“If you want to see it in a bad way then I am 100 per cent responsible, I have no problem with that. I will take it even if they had scored a goal in the last minute.”
