Eden Hazard has revealed he played like a ‘ghost’ last season. Chelsea finished in a dismal 10th position last season.
Hazard was one of the main reasons behind Chelsea’s Premier League triumph in the 2014/15 season. He won the PFA player of the year as Jose Mourinho guided the Blues to their fifth League title.
The Belgian’s performance dipped severely last season and he failed to replicate his form. The lacklustre performance of the club forced Roman Abramovich to sack Mourinho after only 16 games in charge last season.
The 26-year old has been on song this term as has found the net nine times. Hazard said, “I was the best player two years ago but last season I was like a ghost
“I want to be the best again and win titles.
“The league is important but the FA Cup even more as I’ve never won it.”
