Eden Hazard has revealed that they all have been enjoying in the new 3-4-3 system introduced by Antonio Conte.
Chelsea brushed off defending champions Leicester City 3-0 in their last match. Marcos Alonso scored a brace while Pedro added a third as Chelsea continued their surge this season.
Antonio Conte has opted to play with a three-man defence after first few games and he has been pretty successful. The Italian’s tactics have seen Chelsea concede only 15 goals this season as the back three of Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz have been rock solid so far.
Eden Hazard also has outpaced his last season’s dismal performance as he has netted nine goals this season and has already surpassed last season’s tally. Hazard said, “The system is good and the players around me are doing well.
“This season everyone is playing at their top level – except for one game against Tottenham, but we can’t win every game.
“We enjoy to play in this system and we don’t have to be sad after losing to Tottenham because football is difficult and you can’t win every game.
“Two years ago we lost 5-3 there and at the end of the season we finished as champions, so I hope for the same this season.
“We will see – we have a lot of games to play, but we are ready for the challenge.”
