Bournemouth have reportedly enquired about the availability of Chelsea captain John Terry and are considering a move for the defender. The 36-year-old has fallen down the pecking order this season.
The Cherries recently lost Nathan Ake to Chelsea who recalled the defender from the loan after he impressed Antonio Conte with his performances. Eddie Howe now wants to rope in Terry to bolster his defence.
The veteran defender hasn’t been involved this season and is currently serving a one-match suspension as he got the marching order in the last match. However, he still could be a very good option for the Cherries as the ex-England international still has few years of football left in his career.
Except for a loan stint at Nottingham Forest, the defender has spent his entire career at Stamford Bridge. Terry could follow Jack Wilshere who is right now plying his trade with Bournemouth and has enjoyed a number of full ninety minutes to his credit.
