Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is not in the mood to relax. Chelsea defeated Stoke City 4-2 to continue their upbeat form in the Premier League this season.
Gary Cahill gave the lead to the home team at the stroke of the 34th minutes. Potters defender Bruno Martins-Indi equalised just after the break. Willian then scored to give Chelsea an upper hand but saw the lead short-lived as Peter Crouch restored parity in the 64th minutes.
Willian then scored his second of the evening and Diego Costa then bagged his 14th goal of the season to give the Blues their 13th straight win in the League.
But Conte refused to stand back and wants his players to continue their form. “Now, it’s important to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, then to think of the next game against Tottenham.
“Numbers are not important if you do not win the title.
“Now, they are fantastic and we are proud, but we must concentrate on the second part of the season.”
