6) CM: Ander Herrera – 7.5/10
He was trying and trying at the heart of the midfield and he threaded a few clever passes together that needed a better end product. Herrera is an integral member of the team without a doubt.
7) CM: Michael Carrick – 5.5/10
He was overwhelmed in the midfield and could only play out passes in a limited range. He was subbed off at half time.
8) CM: Paul Pogba – 3/10
An absolutely woeful performance in a huge game. His touches were clumsy, he gave away a penalty and he was completely overpowered in the midfield.
9) RM: Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 6.5/10
Involved himself in the game to some extent and kept the pressure on Liverpool at a steady rate. Blew up a big chance early on which is disappointing.
10) LM: Anthony Martial – 6/10
He was triple marked by Liverpool and could do nothing eventually. He was subbed off after he got his footing wrong and missed the chance to score.
11) ST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 7/10
Thirteen in thirteen for Zlatan as the goal machine just cannot stop scoring and once again he latched upon a chance to score. Old Trafford exhaled collectively and Zlatan just can’t stop scoring!
