6) Emre Can – 6.5/10
Showed creativity and played some incisive passes for Woodburn but once again nothing was enough to break down the resilient away team. He was subbed off early considering that huge Premier League games are just around the corner.
7) Ovie Ejaria – 6.5/10
Involved himself well in the starting stages of the match by playing some nice link-ups and passes but he too wore off and got less involved as the game paced ahead.
He showed positive signs but still there’s a long way to go for the youngster.
8) Ben Woodburn – 7/10
Blew up a major chance early on when Can played him through but his bursts and runs showed his desire to do something. He received a standing ovation when he got subbed off. A rising talent indeed!
9) Sheyi Ojo – 5.5/10
He had a frustrating game the whole night as Plymouth sat deep. He missed the biggest chance of the game as he headed down.
Didn’t do much but still, he has vast scope for improvement.
10) Kevin Steward – 6/10
Made an all important last ditch tackle to prevent an odd attack from Plymouth but otherwise, his performance was a bit frustrating as well. Long shots caused no trouble at all. He needs to improve.
11) Divock Origi – 5/10
He tirelessly ran and tried to pull of something but this was surely one of his most frustrating displays.
Barring a goal that was disallowed, he had no moment where he actually looked threatning.
