6) CM: Jordan Henderson – 6.5/10
Didn’t involve himself much in the game but silently, he made a big difference as well as contribution. Shielded his defence impressively as well! Overall a very good result for the captain.
7) CM: Georginio Wijnaldum – 6/10
Needs to take his chances but work rate wise it was another top performance. Kept the pressure on Pogba and came out on top.
8) CM: Emre Can – 5.5/10
He was largely rash and committed fouls. Nothing extraordinary though.
9) RM: Adam Lallana – 6/10
Work-rate was good as usual but couldn’t do anything in the final third.
10) LM: Roberto Firmino – 6.5/10
Looked like a threat every time he got going forward but chose wrong options many times.
11) FW: Divock Origi – 6/10
Unsettled United’s defence with his pace but couldn’t capitalize much. Needs to reduce clumsiness of his game otherwise it was a decent performance.
