5) LWB: Marcos Alonso – 9/10
Showed adventure going forward and got his reward at early stages in both intervals. Chelsea only forgot Diego Costa because this man stepped up with vital goals. Marcos Alonso does have competition but he would be brushing them off like this.
6) RWB: Victor Moses – 7/10
A threat going forward and defensively decent. Sums up a typical Moses performance.
7) CM: N’golo Kante – 7/10
He was all over the midfield in his usual way, returning to King Power and showing what exactly Leicester City misses. Another top notch performance from the Frenchman.
8) CM: Nemanja Matic – 8/10
He has undoubtedly established himself as a pivotal man. Used his strength to dominate effectively and bossed around like it was a simple task. How well he fits Conte’s system!
9) RF: Willian – 7/10
Work rate was commendable as usual and he played an effective part in the last goal. Tirelessly good display once again by the Brazilian.
10) CF: Eden Hazard – 7.5/10
He had a decent game with loads of running causing threats for Leicester. Didn’t make a direct impact except for the earlier assist but nevertheless, it was another good display.
11) LF: Pedro Rodriguez – 8/10
Got an assist and was at the right place at the right time to head in a goal and kill the game off. Pedro’s revival has been truly amazing. One would only hope he keeps this up.
