Arsene Wenger has provided major injury update over Francis Coquelin. The midfielder hobbled off after just 28 minutes and had to be replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Coquelin’s injury will be known when he will undergo a scan. The midfielder injured his hamstring while he was trying to clear a ball. Coquelin joined Santi Cazorla on the injury list who has been already ruled out for the rest of the season.
Arsenal came back from a three-goal down to rescue a appoint but their performance got marred by Coquelin’s injury. He is now set to miss lengthy spell on the sidelines.
On being asked about injury Wenger answered, “Coquelin has a hamstring (problem).
“We have to wait 48 hours for the scan and the result. But usually when he sits down and comes off it’s not so good news.
“If it’s just tiredness he will try to play on but he didn’t even try to play again.”
