Arsenal are reportedly interested in Torino striker Andrea Belotti but have been holding off due to his hefty price tag. The 23-year-old is valued at around £50m by the Italian Club.
With Danny Welbeck returning to training, Lucas Perez and Olivier Giroud both in form, Arsene Wenger may not go for the forward and could wait for him till the summer. Belotti has earlier been linked with Liverpool. The centre-forward has already bettered his last year’s tally of 12 goals and has bagged 13 goals in 16 appearances this term.
Belotti has excelled in the Serie A this season and is also carried his form to the international level. Giampiero Ventura has been using him as the first choice striker for Italy and the Torino front man has already scored three goals in five appearances.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring his situation but it seems Wenger might bid for him in the summer.
