Laurent Koscielny has heaped praises on Arsene Wenger saying the French man was behind Arsenal’s stupendous success.
Koscielny has been rock solid so far. He had been handed the captain’s armband this season as Per Mertesacker hasn’t been involved for the Gunners this season.
Koscielny has formed a formidable partnership with Shkodran Mustafi at the heart of Arsenal defence.
Wenger’s future is the subject of speculations. His contract is scheduled to expire at the end of this season ns there has been no talks with the club for a new contract.
Mesut Ozil recently claimed that he will sign a new contract if he gets the surety over Wenger’s future. Koscielny said, “You may say that we haven’t won the title for a long time, but he has not just built players, he’s built men too.
“Every player who has played for Arsenal has grown here and has become a man. It’s a big number [of players]. For me and the others, it’s a good opportunity to be with him and learn from him.”
