Antonio Conte has heaped praises on Pedro. The ex-Barcelona player has become an inevitable part of Antonio Conte’s side.
The Spaniard has turned out to be a completely changed player since his arrival from Barcelona last season. Pedro had been struggling to adapt to the Premier league until the arrival of Antonio Conte. Since the Italian boss has started to play with 3-4-3 formation, the World Cup winner has been one of the sensational performers for the Blues.
Rumours were hovering that the 29-year-old was considering a move back to Spain and even had a talk with the Catalans President. But with five goals and five assists in his kitty in the Premier League, the winger seem to have started enjoying his stint at the Stamford Bridge.
Conte said, “All of us can see his performance.
“He’s playing in a fantastic way, not only scoring but playing really good football with the ball and without the ball. He’s always in the right position to press, to win the ball and to score the goal.
“I think we are seeing the best moment of Pedro. I think he played this type of football when he was in Barcelona, and I hope to continue in this way, to continue to train very well and to improve. He is a really important player for us, in the same way that Willian has recovered his form, Eden and Diego.”
