Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant believes that Chelsea’s fate lies in Antonio Conte’s hand. If the Italian can continue to guide his team like, this Chelsea can win the Premier League title this season.
Conte has been playing with a 3-4-3 formation and has been very successful with this formation. Chelsea have lost only three matches in this season and are five points clear of second-placed Liverpool.
The Blues had been on a 12 match unbeaten run but suffered a jolt at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur as the North Londoners inflicted their first defeat recently.
Grant was in charge for a single season and guided Chelsea to the Champions League final where they lost to Manchester United.
Grant, who is right now at the helm of Ghana said, “Conte has done a very good move, he came back to the system he has played all his life, because Chelsea started the season not so good. I think one of the strengths of big coaches is knowing when to change – when things aren’t going well. Chelsea are looking the best in the league at the moment.
“Conte is doing a very good job in Chelsea and it’s not easy with the same players as last year. Even though Chelsea have big players, the coach is very important and I think at the moment they are my first choice to win the Premier League.”
