Tottenham Hotspur had a very underwhelming start to their season this time around and find themselves three points behind Manchester City who are right now fourth in the table. The gap between them and the league leaders Chelsea is 10 points already and considering that they were expected to challenge for the title this season, Mauricio Pochettino will be a concerned man right now. Injuries to a number of key players along with a slump in form have exploited their lack of depth and Pochettino is likely to resolve that in January.
Spurs are weighing up a January bid for Crystal Palace’s £25 million-rated winger Wilfried Zaha, according to reports. The 24-year-old winger has been in excellent form this season for Crystal Palace even though his side have struggled to perform as a unit. The English international was targetted by the Lilywhites earlier this summer but Pardew did not want to lose another winger after letting Bolasie go.

With his pace and trickery, he can unsettle any defence in the world but unless you can score goals or set up teammates, it hardly matters. The 24-year-old has shown that he has improved his decision making and now that he closer to his peak years, he could become a big hit at White Hart Lane.

In the process, the Englishman has made 1.4 key passes and 1.1 crosses every game. He has been decisive for Palace this season and could prove to be a brilliant addition at White Hart Lane.
