Rio Ferdinand thinks that Eden Hazard is better than Alexis Sanchez when both players are in their peak form.
Both the players have been in superb form in this season and have guided their respective team to the first and second place. Hazard started the season quietly but has picked his form gradually and has been one of the key players for the Blues.
Sanchez has been instrumental in Arsenal’s recent success. The Chilean has been pushed into a centre-forward position by Arsene Wenger and the winger cum forward hasn’t disappointed his manager as he has already bagged 11 goals in the Premier League.
Ferdinand said,
“He’s [Sanchez] definitely one of [the best in the league]
I think Hazard takes some beating when he is on song.
“But this guy [Sanchez], he’s carrying this team. He’s the guy who is the inspiration and in the defining moments, he’s taking the opportunities.
“He puts teams on the back-foot, he enables them to get that little bit more time and space because he’s running into the channels and running into the spaces.”
