Manchester United will be a pumped outfit after having notched up victories in back to back matches as they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 after seeing off Tottenham Hotspur in a solid 1-0 win at Old Trafford. Things are slowly starting to settle for the new manager and his array of superstars who have come in for a good amount of criticism till now. The likes of Pogba and Mkhitaryan had failed to light up the League as many expected but in the recent weeks, they have started performing at a level nearer to theirs. Martial slowly seems to be getting back into form while Henrikh Mkhitaryan looks every bit the player, United shelled out the money to buy.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been scoring the goals even though he might not be on the same page as his teammates even now. But goals matter and hence he can afford a dip in the supplementary roles.
The Red Devils are on the back of a close 2-1 win over Crystal Palace where the two superstars combined to give them the win with a goal and assist apiece from both Pogba and Ibrahimovic.
They are facing West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and they have got to be patient and stick to their game against the Baggies who have been very flexible regarding their tactics this season.
PREDICTED MANCHESTER UNITED LINE-UP VS WEST BROMWICH ALBION (4-2-3-1)
DEFENCE
David De Gea, who has made it a habit of getting United out of extremely tight situations will again be in goal. And United will forever be thanking the ill-fated fax machine which had broken down last year. Antonio Valencia might make a comeback at right-back after having missed the last match with a suspension. Bailly will be given an off after injury forced him off yesterday.
Phil Jones has been their best defender and will be the right centre-back and he will be paired with Rojo. The pair has struck up a good partnership and will be joined at left-back by Blind.
MIDFIELD
Ander Herrera has become a regular fixture in midfield and might be joined by Fellaini as Carrick gets a rest. The Belgian will come in handy while defending set-pieces against the likes of Rondon and McAuley. Paul Pogba got amongst the goals and assists and will be in the No.10 role.
ATTACK
Martial will be on the left-flank while Lingard is expected to line-up on the right wing and will be looking to impress the manager even more after coming off the bench and doing a good job. Ibrahimovic will be leading the line.
