Aussie midfield enforcer Mile Jedinak will keep his place in the middle of the park. He is an influential member of the side with the steel he brings to midfield. The Aussie’s defensive discipline and decent passing ability make him a key player at Villa Park.
Gary Gardner was on the bench against Leeds after a minor injury setback and should return to the starting XI. Gardner should replace Westwood in the middle of the park.
Albert ADomah is likely to start wide right.
Leanardo Bacuna is lined up to start on the left.
Attack
Jonathan Kodija has been extremely impressive for Villa this season up front and scored the only goal against Leeds late in the game to hand a vital point to the club.
He will keep his place up front and we expect Jordan Ayew to support him in the attack.
