The three-man midfield has worked wonders for them and the formation has got the best out of Paul Pogba.
Michael Carrick might once again sit in front of the defence and he will most have to initiate his team’s attacks with Sunderland pressure expected to be next to none.

ATTACK
Juan Mata might line up on the right flank although Mourinho might go with Rooney and Lingard on the wings as it was in the win against West Bromwich Albion.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be leading the line once again.
