Manchester United will have an excellent chance of prolonging their current 4-match winning streak when newly promoted Middlesbrough make a visit to the Old Trafford. United have turned things around in the last month or so and seem to have found a balance to their starting eleven and the most pleasing part will be that their star duo of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are currently their best players.
It was extremely important for Pogba to slowly rediscover his form which made him the world’s costliest player. And on the evidence of the last few weeks, it seems he is doing exactly that.
On the other hand, Zlatan Ibrahimovic keeps on banging in the goals and is defying age to go from strength to strength. Already on 12 goals, he is firmly in the race for the Golden Boot and it will be a tremendous achievement if he is in and around the candidates when the season comes to a close.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s return to form has also come at a perfect time for them. With the games coming thick and fast, the Armenian has shown enough in his recent displays to prove that he can be a success at Old Trafford.
They will be facing a Boro outfit who lost narrowly to Burnley and won’t have much to lose when they roll up to United. If Jose Mourinho’s boys can get an early goal, it can very well turn into a rout.

DEFENCE
David De Gea will be in goal as the obvious choice and will be confident of keeping the goal-shy Boro team off the scoresheet. Antonio Valencia has been a revelation at right-back this season and will continue in that role.
Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo are expected to continue as the centre-back pairing and will have to keep out former City man Alvaro Negredo. Blind got a goal and is likely to keep his place at left-back ahead of Darmian.
