Midfield
The absence of Moussa Dembele was a major reason that caused the different setup against Hull. The Belgian remains out with a foot injury and could miss next game too. We expect Eric Dier to start beside Victor Wanyama in the central midfield for the next game.
Dier had a good game in the midweek as his ball distribution from the back was brilliant. He could do a lot better in a bit advanced role. Wanyama had a decent game too. He grabbed a goal from a free-kick rebound.
The playmaking position should definitely be taken by Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder had a dazzling game, scoring a brace. He has now scored five goals in his last five games.
Attack
Although he had the chance for more movement on the wings, Alli looked off the pace there. However, with Eriksen on fire from the number 10 role, he is expected to start wide next match too.
Sissoko should again get a chance to impress on the right flank. His work rate is phenomenal. Harry Kane is the best option for Spurs up front and although his scoring boots are bit loose now, he can start firing anytime.
