Midfield
Kalvin Phillips and Liam Bridcutt are expected to start in front of the defence. The partnership between these two players would be crucial for Leeds to build on the counter attacking moves when they get the chance to do so.
The two are likely to shuffle between box to box and more defensive minded role.
With Chris Wood and Doukara experiencing patchy spells, Leeds need all the goals they can get from the midfielders and the two have the ability to do so even though they play in the deeper midfield.
With two impressive full-backs at their disposal, Leeds have good potency in the attack as the two wingers have some pace to burn as well. With An in-form Kemar Roofe as the number 10, Leeds attackers can make space pretty conveniently.
Sacko and Dallas are expected to start as well.
Attack
Doukara started the last game against Aston Villa even though Leeds had a fit Chris Wood to the bench.
The Kiwi’s good form has often been blighted by small niggles and he’ll hope to remain injury free for the upcoming year and aide Leeds in their quest for promotion.
Predicted Leeds United Lineup: Green; Ayling, Jansson, Bartley, Berardi; Phillips, Bridcutt; Sacko, Roofe, Dallas; Wood.
