James McCarthy is expected to be out for a considerable period of time and hence Gareth Barry is likely to come into the midfield beside the impressive Idrissa Gueye.
Barry has been in and out of the team and will look to put up a solid show and cement his place.
Ross Barkley has shown signs of improving in recent matches and will be a threat on Monday.
ATTACK
Koeman might persist with Lennon and Valencia on either wing.
But the likes of Deulofeu and Mirallas will be pushing for a start. Romelu Lukaku will lead the line once again.
