Midfield
Wenger has the luxury of combinations to try in the midfield. With Coquelin suspended for the midweek UCL game, Wenger opted Ramsey to partner Granit Xhaka in the pivot.
With Xhaka fast becoming a crucial part of Arsenal’s midfield, who could provide passes from deep midfield in the absence of Cazorla, Wenger is likely to start with him. We expect Coquelin to start alongside him to provide the screening to the defence.
Mesut Ozil should start in the number 10 position once again. For a change this season, Ozil is seen scoring more than assisting.
His rate of creating chances is still pretty impressive, however, and his subtle sync with Alexis Sanchez is helping Arsenal pretty well at the moment.
Attack
Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both expected to start on the flanks as it has worked pretty well for Wenger since he first tried that against Bournemouth.
The man of the moment, Alexis Sanchez, will start in the false number 9 position. He was unfortunate not to get a goal against Basel after his hat-trick against West Ham last weekend.
In Arsenal’s fixture against Stoke last year, Sanchez had scored twice and assisted one.
