The Foxes will be an absolutely thrilled lot as they travel to the Dean Court to face off against a Bournemouth side who are off a 2-3 reverse at Burnley. But the reason for optimism and jubilance will not just be the form of the Cherries.
Leicester City are on the back of a 4-2 thrashing of Pep Guardiola managed Manchester City and in that rain-soaked 90 minutes, it seems they washed away all their disappointment and the feeling of failure to get going this season. The Champions have been written off with many pundits wielding their pen and mouth to term them as relegation candidates.
But as soon a Jamie Vardy completed his hat-trick and went off on his customary raw and passionate celebration, it was as if all was forgotten and the fans embraced the players with open arms.
And it is co-incidental but with the party season approaching, it seems that the Leicester boys are finally getting rid of their hangover. They were back to being typical Leicester. First time passing, long and direct balls and the oh-so-amazing telepathic exchanges between Vardy and Mahrez.
All of this and more was back and the only thing to be seen will be whether they can carry on the levels they displayed on Saturday.
PREDICTED LEICESTER CITY XI VS BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-2)
DEFENCE
Ron Robert-Zieler might retain his place for another match with Schmeichel given a couple of more days to recover. Danny Simpson got himself his 5th yellow and will miss the match.
Luis Hernandez is most likely to take his place. Wes Morgan will look to carry on his good outing along with Robert Huth beside him. On the left-hand side, it will be the attack-minded Christian Fuchs.
The quintessential Leicester way of bypassing the midfield with those long balls was back and they would like to carry on in the same manner.
