Borussia Dortmund will lock horns with defending champions Real Madrid on Wednesday as the two big heavyweights battle it out for the first place in Group F of UEFA Champions League.
Here is how we feel the Borussia Dortmund players will lineup Vs Real Madrid.
Goalkeeper: Roman Weidenfeller will be the number one choice on Wednesday as the initial number one goalie Roman Burki is out for two months due to injury.
The veteran goalkeeper has not been able to respond well to the situation so far, conceding six goals in three games.
Center Back(R): Sokratis will lead the Dortmund defence. The Greek defenders have been a mainstay of Dortmund’s defensive line, since Hummels’ departure to FC Bayern in the summer.
Center Back: Matthias Ginter’s improved performances this season, has shaped a path for him in Dortmund’s starting eleven. The 22-year-old is very good in aerial duels, and extremely versatile in defence.
Center Back(L): Former Barcelona defender Marc Bartra was a key man in Dortmund’s pressing game, in their win against FC Bayern, two weeks ago.
The positioning of the 25-year-old will be crucial to Dortmund’s high line of defence.
Right Wing Back: Veteran Polish defender Lukasz Piszczek will reign down from the right-hand side. The 31 year old Polish international is a key part of Borussia Dortmund’s defence, as he settles and reshapes the defensive formation time and time again when any centre backs are out of position.

Left Wing Back: Vice-captain Marcel Schmelzer will look to take charge of the left flank with his marauding runs into the final third.
His lack of pace, however, might prove to be a cause for concern for Thomas Tuchel.
