Manchester United are reportedly considering to extend Jose Mourinho’s contract. The Portuguese was signed at the start of this season for a three-year deal.
Mourinho replaced Louis Van Gaal but hadn’t made the impact he wanted to in the first few months of the season. United lost successive games at the hands of Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford in the initial stage. They also lost to Chelsea 4-0, in what was the Portuguese’s heaviest defeat in the Premier League so far.
But The Red Devils have made significant progress off late and the club hierarchy are reportedly happy with his performance. United are unbeaten in their last ten games with seven wins in from those. They also registered their third straight win in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
Mourinho has been staying at the Lowry hotel but that won’t be a problem for the gaffer as according to his close friends he is looking for an apartment in Manchester. He had earlier expressed his intentions to manage the club for far many years.
