Manchester United could offer Zlatan Ibrahimović a coaching role to keep him at the club for a longer period. Zlatan was signed from Paris Saint-Germain this summer on a free transfer.
Since his arrival, the 35-year-old Swede has been in excellent form and has already bagged 11 goals in 16 matches for the Red Devils in the Premier League. In his current contract, there is an option to extend it for a further year and United are ready to trigger that.
Apart from that United hierarchies are very impressed with this dedication and work ethics. Teenagers like Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial recently praised the former Inter Milan striker who took retirement from International football after the EURO 2016 debacle.
Mourinho is very keen to work with the player beyond his contract and he could be handed a key role in his staff. Zlatan is very eager to try his hand in coaching and United could be his maiden club.
