Zlatan Ibrahimovic has denied that he purposely kicked Everton right-back, Seamus Coleman. Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton.
Ibrahimovic got engaged in a nasty tackle with Coleman when the defender was trying to clear a ball. Ibrahimovic landed on him awkwardly and his boot hits his face. Referee Michael Oliver didn’t notice the incident and Zlatan got away without any caution from the referee.
Zlatan refused to admit that he incidentally kicked the defender, “It was a physical game. They played hard.
“I heard one of the commentators say I kicked someone in the head on purpose, but it was a 50-50 duel and he pulled me down.
“Trust me, if I want to kick someone in the head, I know how to kick someone in the head and make him fall asleep. That is the only thing I have to say.”
Ibrahimovic scored his eighth goal in the Premier League but couldn’t help his team as a late penalty by Leighton Baines saw them sharing the points with the Toffees.
