Ander Herrera has been one of the consistent players for Manchester United this season. The Spanish midfielder has established himself in the United midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick.
The former Bilbao star has been the driving force in the middle of the park. With Carrick assigned on the front of the back four to provide an extra shield and Pogba doing his usual box to box tricks, it is Herrera who is influencing the play.
United have won their last three Premier League matches with Herrera in the team. He has created a partnership with Carrick and Pogba that is complimenting each other and is helping the Red Devils find the perfect balance.
Herrera, who recently made his debut for Spain, said that he wants to be a part of United as long as possible, “Yes, but you never know because if I want to keep playing for United you have to play very well because United is the biggest club in England.
“The club has the capacity to bring any player here so you have to always be at your highest level if you want to keep playing for this club. It’s not easy but I hope I can and I will fight for it.”
