In an audacious swap deal, West Ham United are planning to bring Anthony Martial of Manchester United if Dimitri Payet goes the other way.
Jose Mourinho is believed to be an avid admirer of the playmaker and has reportedly targeted him to improve Manchester United’s creativity in the middle of the pitch. Payet enjoyed a stellar first season having arrived from Marseille as he bagged nine goals and assisted 12 occasions.
This season, he has failed to replicate his form but has still been the best player for the Hammers and has registered six assists. Earlier it was reported that player could be available for a paltry £15m if the Hammers get relegated this season.
On the other hand, Anthony Martial also has been a letdown after his brilliant debut season. The French teenager has only managed four goals this season and was not in the squad against Crystal Palace in the last match.
Real Madrid and Barcelona also expressed their interest in the player but a transfer is unlikely to happen this January.
