Manchester City keeper Claudio Bravo has vowed to be back in form despite much criticism.
Pep Guardiola has brought Claudio Bravo from Barcelona and sent Joe Hart on loan to Torino. Bravo has been struggling to adapt in the Premier League since his arrival. He got away without being punished after a very rash tackle on Wayne Rooney in the Manchester derby. His poor positioning sense also led to Willian’s goal as City squandered a lead to hand Chelsea a 3-1 win.
Despite being error prone he has won the accolades from his coach. Pep was trying to sign a keeper who can pass but it seems his plan of signing the Chilean has backfired.
Bravo claimed that he needs to rectify his mistakes amidst of criticism, “The criticism is going to exist but I have no problem with that. In fact, I often accept criticism because I feel it helps me to get better and get stronger. And I hardly ever remember the compliments.
“I know what Joe did here, he had some great seasons and he won many things with the club. But I had the same situation when I joined Barcelona, replacing Víctor Valdés, one of the best goalkeepers around. That’s just how football works.”
