Nolito claims that he has no problem with Pep Guardiola’s rotation policy. The 30-year-old switched to England from Celta Vigo in this summer. The Spaniard started his Manchester City career on a good note but has been pretty ordinary in recent matches. He has appeared in 11 matches in the Premier League but started only seven among them.
Nolito was pretty good against Celtic as he provided the assist for Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal. Having played 18 games in all competitions till now, the Spanish International has bagged five goals and assisted three times for the English outfit.
Nolito, who snubbed Barcelona before joining City, said, “After more than a week without playing, I’m very happy to have started.
“Although there wasn’t anything at stake in this game, it was still a Champions League game and everyone likes to play in this competition.
“I’m honestly very happy. I know that at City it’s difficult to play when you have great players.
“The coach is rotating the players and sometimes you play and others you don’t. From a selfish standpoint, of course I would like to play in every game.”
