Another brilliant display. Stepping up when needed. Pep will have difficulty dropping him when Fernandinho returns next week. Won almost all his tackles and kept the game going in the midfield.
TOURE-8/10
A typical Toure display. Helped in keeping the foot on the pedal and push back Arsenal. His passing, although sometimes simple looking, have a big part to play in the context of the game. Useful contribution.
SILVA- 9/10
Another masterful display by El Mago. Orchestrated all of City’s forward forays. Extremely difficult to pick up for the Arsenal defenders. A delightful chipped ball sent Sane away. Brilliant.
SANE-7.5/10
Got his first goal for the club. And what an important it turned out to be. Again showed glimpses of why he can be a world-beater. Just needs time and confidence.
STERLING- 7.5/10
Missed an open goal with a header but showed character by being in there and capped off a good performance with a brilliant winning goal. More of that needed from City’s talented yet circumspect attack line.
DE BRUYNE- 8/10
Showing why he is the best midfielder in the league. Two moments of quality had goal written all over it. Sterling missed the sitter and scored the difficult one. Crucial.
