Jose Mourinho has said that Luke Shaw needs to improve. The 21-year old hasn’t featured in recent matches but could feature when Manchester United will face Crystal Palace.
The former Southampton left-back has been injured a couple of times this season. He has been left out for the last couple of matches due to an injury. The youngster faced Mourinho’s wrath when he pulled out from the Swansea game after suffering an injury.
He also angered the gaffer when he was at fault for Watford’s goal at Vicarage Road. Shaw has been very promising but injury has halted his growth in times.
He was signed for a staggering £27m and has shown glimpses of what he can do at times, though.
But Mourinho has insisted that he doesn’t expect him to do insane things at this age, “He needs to improve.
“That is normal. He is a kid; I am not expecting a young player to be perfect.
“A young player makes mistakes and has things to learn and develop. He needs to do that.”
