Arsenal have been handed a major boost as Aaron Ramsy and Danny Welbeck has returned to full training. Alex Oxlade-chamberlain who suffered an injury against Manchester City is also expected to be back soon.
Welbeck had missed a large part of this season as he injured his knee in May. He was supposed to be out for almost a year but made a significant recovery and has given Arsene Wenger a much-needed boost before the much busy festive period.
Ramsey has just six Premier League appearances this term and has suffered several setbacks after injuring his hamstring against Liverpool in the opening match. He might play a role in the Boxing Day encounter against West Brom.
Chamberlain also could be back in few days. Initially, it was feared that the player set to miss a longer period but later assessment of his injury revealed that the midfielder will be available for the festive period.
The French gaffer said, “Danny joins in for the first time today. Wenger said of Welbeck. “He will return to training today which is very good news.
“Welbeck will need some time. Today is the first time he joins in with team training so I’m very cautious because you can have setbacks after being out for so long.
“Aaron is in full training. He’s efficient offensively and is a very complete box-to-box player.”
