Arsene Wenger has delivered some crucial injury update on Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck before the much-anticipated game against Manchester City. The French boss has made it clear that he is expected to have the same squad that lost 2-1 against Everton.
Ramsey missed the last two games against Everton and Stoke City. The Wales midfielder missed a number of games earlier this season after suffering a hamstring injury in the opening day 4-3 loss to Liverpool. Wenger confirmed that the Welsh won’t be available against Manchester City but could feature in the next match.
“Nobody back. Ramsey’s not back, he’s the closest to come back, so we have some knocks and bruises but they should all be available again.
“Next week, I believe he should be back in the squad and in normal training.”
He also has provided positive news on Danny Welbeck who has been sidelined for almost seven months and is yet to feature in this season.
“Danny Welbeck is one week away from completing normal training and being back in the squad.”
