Dimitri Payet has dropped a major hint and that could be a big boost for Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal fans.
The 29-year old is having a tough season at West Ham United. The Hammers are currently in 13th in the Premier league table and have won five games out of 17. Payet has also has a very normal start in compared to the last season and has only managed two goals so far.
Arsene Wenger is known to be an avid admirer of the play maker and has expressed interest several times. Payet reportedly has a release clause of 15m pounds and it could be triggered only if the Hammers get relegated this season.
However things could change in the coming month and the French International recently hinted for a move to the Emirates, “I read that Wenger considered me as the missing piece of Arsenal’s play, but he said nothing to me
“We conceded five or six at home against them recently [a 5-1 home defeat for the Hammers]. When you see them play, as a ball playing footballer, one could only enjoy oneself playing in this team. They are candidates for the title every year.”
