According to Harry Redknapp, Liverpool won’t be able to finish in the top four this season. The Reds has been enduring a fine season this term. They defeated Stoke City 4-1 in the last match to cement their second place. They are now six points behind league leaders Chelsea who are yet to taste defeat in the past 12 matches.
With the four goals against Stoke City, Liverpool have now scored 100 goals in just 48 games under the guidance of Jürgen Klopp and thus equaled the record set by Kenny Dalglish’s Liverpool.
Klopp’s introduction of 4-3-3 has been reaping dividend for the Reds who have scored a whopping 45 goals so far.
Redknapp said, “I watched Man City and they weren’t overly impressive at Hull,
“Even Chelsea, Bournemouth had good opportunities at the weekend. But at the moment if you had to put your money down Chelsea would be favourites.
“If any of that top six could put a run together they can still win it and any two of the top six, apart from Chelsea probably, could drop out of it (the top four).
“Who’s going to be out of that top four? I think Arsenal will be in the top four. I think Tottenham will be in the four.
“Who’s going to drop out? Chelsea will be in the four. Man City are going to be in the four.
“I think Liverpool (will drop out).”
