Chelsea winger Eden Hazard thinks that Diego Costa’s change in attitude is the reason behind the striker’s stupendous success.
Diego Costa has been in blistering form in this season. He scored the all-important equaliser against Manchester City to bag his 11th goal of the season.
Costa had the knack of picking up unnecessary cards due to his aggression, which at times is needless, but has been pretty disciplined in this term. The Spaniard was also the provider of Willian’s goal.
Hazard said, “I think this is the big change. Before he was scoring a lot but sometimes got a yellow or red card. Today he scored and made an assist. He’s on fire since the start of the season. I want it to continue. [We’ve won] eight in a row – not every year you can do this. To win here after being behind at half-time is very good.
“We showed great character against Tottenham, today again.”
