Chelsea will rekindle their interest in Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam when the transfer window opens.
The Algerian reportedly rejected a move to the Stamford Bridge in the summer and preferred to stay at Naples as the Italian club are playing in the Champions League this season. The Algerian is an integral part of the side and has been earning accolades for his performances.
Antonio Conte is no short of defenders right now as he signed David Luiz and Marcos Alonso in the last transfer window. He has been in the market for a defender who could suit his 3-4-3 formation and the Algerian could be his solution. He has the ability to play in the back three or back four and would be a very good option.
The 25-year-old moved to Napoli from St Etienne in 2014. Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is very adamant to tie him at the club as the club is edging towards the critical period of the season.
