Chelsea are planning to bring Javier Hernandez back to the Premier League in January. Hernandez, popularly known as ‘Chicharito’ had a brief stint with Manchester United after he arrived from Mexican club Guadalajara in 2010. He won two Premier League titles during his four-year stay at the club.
Former Red Devils manager Louis Van Gaal decided to loan him to Real Madrid before selling him permanently to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 28-year old has been thriving at the German club as he scored 26 goals last season. This term also he has netted seven goals so far.
Despite having Michy Batshuayi, Conte preferred to start Eden Hazard as the centre forward as Diego Costa was suspended in the last match.
The Blues currently have two forwards in their ranks with Diego Costa a sure starter, Conte is looking for more options. Chelsea have to shell out something in the range of £34m to secure the Mexican’s services.
