Chelsea loanee Charly Musonda could return to the club from Real Betis after enduring a tough season. The 20-year old has been struggling from a knee injury and has been limited to eight appearances only this season. Musonda went back to Chelsea to assess his injury and according to reports, Betis could end his loan stint prematurely in January.
The 20-year old also spent the second half of the last season and extended his stay for another season. Musonda is one of the 38 players out on loan from Chelsea but Betis’ sporting director Miguel Torrecilla has hinted that the club could end his loan stint in January only. “I understand, because it is normal a big club wants one of its assets to play.
“He is a [Chelsea] player but we’ll see what happens between now and then, and the end of campaign.”
The player himself also admitted that his dream is to play in the Premier League someday. “There’s feedback with people from Chelsea. I’ve never actually been in direct contact with Antonio Conte, but the club are keeping an eye on their players’ performances.
“My dream is to play in the Premier League, I’m going to continue my efforts to reach that objective.”
