The Best & The Worst Real Madrid Players Rated In Their Win Over Deportivo

Real Madrid eventually managed to get all three points against Deportivo with a fantastic stoppage time header from Sergio Ramos. After finishing 0-0 in the first half, Alvaro Morata scored a magnificent goal to give them the lead only for substitute Joselu to score two in two minutes to give Deportivo the lead.

Mariano levelled the proceedings with a goal in the 84th minute while Ramos scored headed a corner to win the game for Real Madrid. Below are Real Madrid’s individual player ratings.

Keylor Navas: 7/10

Although Navas could have done little about the first goal, he could have done better in Deportivo’s second goal which went through his legs.

Danilo: 7.5/10

Danilo often ran the whole length of the pitch to get into the box and provide support although he was often caught upfield.

Pepe: 7.5/10

Pepe too was caught out of position a couple of times in the box but his overall performance was fairly average.

Sergio Ramos: 8/10

Sergio Ramos did well defensively and his stoppage time winner gave Real Madrid all three points.

His offensive involvement especially during set-pieces in the last minutes of the game gave Real Madrid a big boost.

Nacho: 7.5/10

Nacho didn’t cut back in with his runs and stayed wide to stretch the opposition’s fullbacks wide but lost a few duels with the opposite number.
