Kovacic (8/10)- With Modric very much on the offensive, Kovacic had to take the driver seat and he delivered. He was decent at the heart of midfield, providing 5 attacking third passes and having two successful take-on in dangerous areas. His balancing act provided a much-needed cushion
Modric (8.5/10)- A reckless challenge early in the first half earned him a silly yellow card. Had to check his tackles since then. His first half performance was absolutely brilliant and he got the better of Busquets most of the times. He created one real chance early in the second half and provided 16 attacking third passes. His assist brought the goal.
Ronaldo (7/10)- Started the game very quietly and his decision making was really poor when he decided to take a shot with his weaker foot instead of passing to Benzema.
It was the first real chance of the game. His shooting also lacked the sting. He got a real chance when Real were one goal down, but he mistimed his jump to the mouth-watering header.
Isco (7/10)- A cheeky dive by Neymar led him to be booked very early in the first half when the Brazilian made the most of his slight touch.
The annoyance and frustration pretty much summed up his game. He was subbed off for Casemiro in the final quarter.

Vazquez (7.5/10)- Surely Real Madrid missed Gareth Bale and Lucas Vazquez was not his potent replacement, but he looked really dangerous at times driving in from the flanks and cutting inside taking advantage of Barcelona’s weak defence. He provided 9 passes in the attacking third.
Benzema (7/ 10)- He was never a threat to Barcelona. He could manage only one shot, which was off-target. Morata was hugely missed.
