6) CM: Michael Carrick – 6/10
Just a silent figure on the pitch, patrolling and doing his duty. Contributed hardly anything to the attack, though.
7) CM: Ander Herrera – 6/10
Aggressive in play and work rate, as usual, was top notch. Another person who’s passing range was limited.
8) CM: Paul Pogba – 8/10
An energetic machine running all over the pitch and adding spice everywhere to the attack. Another fantastic performance from Pogba even though he didn’t score or assist.
9) LW: Jesse Lingard – 7/10
A supporting act and showed bits of flair to contribute going forward. Nothing extraordinary though and was subbed off early.
10) RW: Juan Mata – 7/10
Good overall performance and had a good effect going forward. Nothing in terms of final product, assist or a goal.
11) ST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 8.5/10
Sublime hold up play and another brilliant performance from the Swede as he made two goals and kept his composure to slot in on his own. The goal machine just can’t stop scoring at the moment, can he!
